I've installed the new version of FreeBSD 5.3 release and the new version of X server(Xorg 6.8.1) with Gnome 2.8. But My X-window system cannot use the effect of translucent window...Does anyone know how to do it?
Sorry. I have not installed FreeBSD 5.3 Release yet. If I want to use X-Window, I usually install Mandrake Linux. When FreeBSD installed, it is for servers only. :P
FreeBSD 5.3 isn't a stable system, maybe you can try 4.10R.
